Dans cette section, nous essayons de donner la meilleure image possible des effets secondaires possibles de la radioth\u00e9rapie. Ce faisant, nous discutons de quelques conseils pour pr\u00e9venir ces effets secondaires ou les rendre plus supportables. La radioth\u00e9rapie agit localement, c'est-\u00e0-dire que le traitement n'affecte que l'endroit o\u00f9 vous \u00eates irradi\u00e9. Les effets secondaires sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement temporaires. \u00c9tant donn\u00e9 que la dose de rayonnement continue d'agir pendant un certain temps, m\u00eame apr\u00e8s la fin du traitement, les effets secondaires peuvent prendre plusieurs semaines ou mois avant de dispara\u00eetre compl\u00e8tement. Les effets secondaires varient d'une personne \u00e0 l'autre.
